Driving Through The Fog...

Have you ever had one of those days? You know when you're head hurts and body aches? Some of you may be thinking hangover, but I don't drink- that nasty bug has infected our house and we just can't seem to get rid of it.

I am taking meds and downing vitamins to keep from falling victim to the illness. I have too much going on that I need to stay on top of. I am walking around in a medicated fog. Its an odd feeling, but I am somewhat functional.

Have you ever felt that way? I know that I did when I first got into the business. There is so much information out there on how to get going. Go ahead do a Google search on Network Marketing, MLM, and lead generation. Its insane the amount of programs and systems that are out there. Guess what, the ones that produce the results all are doing basically the same thing.

SO how do you drive through the fog of information overload? Simple just like driving through the fog in your car. You move cautiously, turn your low beams on and pay attention to the road you can see ahead of you.

You keep moving cautiously. Its tough, a lot of the systems and programs out there usually have free information and email lists you can join. Get a feel for how they operate and if you like the way they do things go for it. Of course make sure you are not getting ripped off first.

Keep your low beams on and your eyes open. You can't get so caught up on learning the system that you neglect your business. It can take you several weeks to fully understand a single concept. During those weeks you could be losing customers and prospects. So keep your low beams on and your eyes open.

Pay attention to the road ahead. You may not be able to see the end when you are in the fog, but if you know where you are going, you can have mileposts that will help you determine if you are still on track to reach your final destination.

Now I hope that you have a final destination. This is your dream. This is your vision. The ultimate big goal to work towards.

Remember if you don't aim at a target, you always miss. This is the same as having goals. If you don't have any to aim for , you'll never reach them.
